About the Role
We're currently seeking to employ an experienced
Mechanical Draftsperson
to join our Engineering Services team in
Kwinana, WA
on a permanent fill-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain accurate 3D models.
Create and update Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;) in accordance with project specifications and standards.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design intent and technical accuracy.
Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts in 3D models.
Generate fabrication and construction drawings including piping layouts, equipment arrangements, and structural supports.
Maintain drawing registers and ensure document control compliance.
Support site teams with redline markups and as-built documentation.
Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and process flow diagrams.
Ability to perform mechanical drafting.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, piping components, and instrumentation.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D and Inventor.
