About The OpportunityAs the Trade Sales Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for trade customers.
Your role will focus on providing technical advice, preparing quotes, and supporting customers' success with effective landscaping solutions.Key responsibilities include:Handling technical enquiries via email, phone, and in-storePreparing and following up on quotes to secure new and repeat businessProducing irrigation designs and BOMs (training provided)Serving walk-in customers in the trade shopfrontPlanning and executing Supplier Training Days and Trade BBQs with team supportRepresenting the business at trade exposStaying up to date with the latest supplier products and innovationsBuilding relationships with trade clients and premium suppliers to expand offerings
About YouThe successful candidate will have:3+ years in a trade background and be ready to move off the tools or a similar trade-based sales roleExperience in the landscaping trade with technical knowledge of irrigation (desirable)Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional approachComputer literacy and the ability to manage quotes, enquiries, and follow-upsInitiative, autonomy, and a drive to grow the business as if it were your ownA customer-focused attitude and the ability to build long-term relationships
