Overview
Key Account Manager - 12 month Max-Term Contract at Montu. This role supports Leafio, Montu's fast-growing wholesale division, and focuses on growing a portfolio of pharmacies with a territory that includes South Brisbane, Gold Coast, Toowoomba, with occasional travel to Coffs Harbour and Lismore as required. This is a hybrid role with an emphasis on developing new business while nurturing existing pharmacy partnerships.
Responsibilities
* Own and grow a portfolio of 60+ pharmacies with full accountability for account success and order volume
* Build strong, trust-based relationships with partners; be their first call
* Develop account plans, work to growth targets, and celebrate wins
* Support pharmacy staff to consolidate ordering through Leafio
* Nurture new accounts from first order to maturity
* Generate new leads and referrals through pharmacy relationships
* Share insights to help shape product and marketing strategy
* Manage pipeline and results with clear reporting and collaboration
Qualifications
* Proven experience in business development or key account management (face-to-face and phone-based)
* Confident in managing a large book of accounts with short sales cycles
* Ability to hit numbers in a consultative, value-first, trustworthy manner
* Curious, strategic, and data-driven
* Customer-focused, acting as a business partner rather than just a representative
