Join Our Team as a Security/Orderly Officer – Support Safety and Care in a Dynamic Health Environment.

Play a significant role in maintaining a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in ways that ensure safety and well‐being of all, in line with hospital policies and procedures.
• Manage and de‐escalate situations involving aggressive or agitated clients, supporting a calm and safe environment for everyone.
• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, applying sound judgement, effective communication, and appropriate methods and equipment to support the safety, comfort, and dignity of patients and staff alike.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Current South Australian Security Agent Licence.
• Demonstrated experience in security roles.
• Experience in dealing with a wide range of people, including de‐escalation of violent, aggressive and/or agitated people.
• Experience with computer packages, e.g., Microsoft365.
• Demonstrated experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in day‐to‐day execution of a position.
