Business Development Manager
This is a client-facing role with responsibilities for new business development within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Retain an exciting customer baseline and achieve sales budgets, including volume, margin, and product objectives.
* Achieve agreed sales budgets, including volume, margin, and product channel goals.
* Maintain accurate customer records and input data into the system.
* Complete and submit monthly reports, tracking performance, market trends, and competitor activity.
* Identify load build opportunities throughout the geographic area and pass leads onto relevant personnel for follow-up.
* Resign customer accounts as they fall due, prepare a Business Approval Model for all re-signs, and follow company Delegation of Authority in all instances.
* Establish and maintain data on the customer information base via appropriate screens.
* Develop trade allies and ensure they are serviced.
Requirements:
* Two to three years of field sales experience.
* Clean and valid driver's license is required for this role.
* Strong customer focus.
* Results-oriented.
* Negotiation and conflict management skills.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
