Based in Osborne Park, our client is a well-established, WA success story, with expertise in the design and management of technically complex engineering solutions. They are geared up for the continuing growth of their client base and projects under management, which means an exciting opportunity is available for an experienced MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER to join their team.
They perform design and construction projects throughout the state in all forms of water infrastructure including bore fields, water and wastewater treatment plants, chemical dosing, tanks, pipelines and associated works.

This is a varied, challenging role and day-to-day responsibilities will include :
* Working closely with Project Design Managers to deliver projects safely, on schedule and on budget.
* Development of detailed designs including drawings, general arrangements, valve, pumping and pipework calculations and equipment specifications.
* Ensuring that design and construction is compliant with project contract documents.
* Specification and procurement of technical equipment including review of vendor documentation.
* Document writing and assistance with technical support, tenders and proposals.
* Overseeing drafting activities, checking and signing off on technical drawings.
* Regular liaison with clients, consultants, internal staff and site-based engineers.
To really excel in this role, you'll be a degree qualified Mechanical Engineer, with a minimum of three years demonstrated experience in a similar role, within the field or waste/bore water and pumping. Even if you're a more experienced professional who is looking for a new challenge, this role would still enable you to further develop your skill-set and move your career forward.
