Pool Guardian Job Opportunity
We are seeking an individual to join our team as a Lifeguard at the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreational Centre.
About the Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the safety of pool patrons by conducting regular surveillance, providing first aid when required, offering exceptional customer service, and dealing with challenging situations in a professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
* Promote a safe environment for all pool users
* Provide emergency response and first aid services when needed
* Offer exceptional customer service to aquatic clientele
* Manage challenging situations in a calm and professional manner
* Assist in setting up pool facilities as required
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to remain calm under pressure
* Physical fitness to perform job requirements
Benefits
This is a casual position offering flexible hours and opportunities for overtime. You will also receive a competitive hourly rate, which includes a 20% casual loading. Additionally, you may be eligible for further loadings on Saturdays and Sundays.
