Job Description
Maintenance services representatives are responsible for ensuring the airworthiness and safety of aircraft. This involves identifying, dismantling, inspecting, testing, and repairing aircraft parts, engines, and systems to restore functional acceptance.
They must also maintain accurate records and documentation of all inspections, repairs, replacements, modifications, overhauls, and maintenance performed using computer and bar-coding equipment.
In addition to these tasks, maintenance services representatives may be required to respond to defects found during inspections and those recorded by flight crew in aircraft technical logs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills or trade certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or equivalent. They will also have a minimum of 5 years' experience in aircraft maintenance as a licensed aircraft maintenance engineer.
Applicants must possess the appropriate academic and technical qualifications and experience to satisfy regulatory licensing requirements, such as CASA/EASA/FAA A&P. They must also be able to obtain a red ASIC and pass extensive security and background checks.

Others
As a maintenance services representative, you will be required to travel up to 25% of the time both internationally and domestically. You must also be willing to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
