Join Ramsay Health Care as a CSSD Technician to support our surgical team by ensuring the highest standard of instrument sterilisation and equipment readiness.
The Opportunity
We are seeking Sterilisation Technicians to join our Sterile Supply team at Albury Wodonga Private Hospital. In this role you will be responsible for carrying out the cleaning, assembly, inspection, wrapping and sterilisation of surgical instruments and medical equipment for Albury Wodonga Private's clinical departments. This role is a critical part of the surgical process that will see you working efficiently with your team to manage pressing deadlines reporting directly to the Sterilising Services Manager.
Responsibilities
* Providing timely sterile products, trays, and equipment where applicable.
* Rotation in various allocated areas in the department.
* Ensuring consistency and continuous workflow between the various Operating Theatre areas and CSSD while practising exceptional customer service and maintaining the high operational standards of the sterilisation department.
Skills And Experience
* Certificate III qualification in Sterilising Services.
* Minimum 1 year of current experience working in a Sterilising Unit.
* Strong knowledge of the principles behind AS 5369:2023.
* Positive attitude that enables effective teamwork and independent work.
* Customer service orientation in both internal and external settings.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
* Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong understanding of safety and infection control procedures.
Remuneration
Hourly salary of $32.36 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements
* Provide or complete a National Police Check (conducted within the last 12 months).
* Ramsay may require a Working‐With‐Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases according to the role.
