About the role
Join the dynamic team at Arca Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd as a Broker Assistant. In this full-time position located in Camberwell VIC 3124, you will play a vital role in supporting our experienced brokers in delivering exceptional insurance solutions to our valued clients.
What you'll be doing
* Assist brokers with the placement and renewal of insurance policies
* Liaise with insurers and clients to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and facilitate policy documentation
* Manage client records and ensure accurate data is maintained in our systems
* Provide exceptional customer service and support to both internal and external stakeholders
* Participate in the development and implementation of new procedures and initiatives
* Contribute to the overall growth and success of the insurance brokerage
* The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training to become a fully qualified insurance broker and will be entrusted with managing their own portfolio of clients.
What we're looking for
* The ideal candidate will have excellent proficiency in both English and Chinese, with strong written and verbal communication skills
* Conversational level Chinese language proficiency is required
* The ideal candidate will have excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

* Demonstrated experience in an administrative or customer service role within the insurance industry or other industries
* A minimum of 1-2 years of administrative or customer service experience is required
* Candidates must hold valid Australian work rights to be eligible for this position
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships
* Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
* A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
