About the role

We have permanent full‑time Plant Operator/Labourer roles in the Maintenance team, based at Moruya, Batemans Bay and Narooma Depots. In this role, you will operate mobile items of plant and attachments, and undertake labouring activities to assist Team Leaders and/or Assistant Works Supervisors to create a safe and well‑organised project/activity.

Moruya, New South Wales – Full‑time The starting salary for this position is $2,356.39 per fortnight plus 12% superannuation. To view the full salary information, list of duties and prerequisites, please view Position Description.

About You

* Ability to do physical labour tasks, be a team‑player and communicate easily with contractors and the public.
* Experience in a construction/maintenance environment and familiar with machinery limits and outputs.
* Good literacy/numeracy skills and keen to take part in further training offered by Council.

What We Offer

* 35 hours per week for administrative staff and 38 hours per week for operational staff.
