Job Title: Quarry Manager - Fifo
About this role:
Seeking an experienced Quarry Manager to join an expanding team.
Key responsibilities:
Ensure company safety standards and procedures are met.
Supervise staff and contractors ensuring a safe working environment.
Plan production, maintenance and on-site improvements to optimize operations.
Manage quarry operations for internal and external audits.
Induct and train all personnel and contractors for assigned tasks.
Ensure daily operations adhere to Holcim's SHE requirements.
Participate in Safety Improvement Team meetings and encourage contractor participation.
Conduct daily pre-start meetings with personnel.
About you:
Achieve a Quarry Managers Certificate, SSE (Site Senior Executive) notice or sufficient experience to obtain notification.
Lead safety efforts with working knowledge of Safety Management Systems, relevant legislation and regulations.
Quarry operations experience required.
Understand Drill & Blast and Quarry development principles.
Practical mobile crushing and screening experience preferred.
Strong budgeting, cost analysis and profit/loss management skills.
Collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplined environment to deliver productivity and cost improvements.
Focus on customer satisfaction and work well with sales and technical teams to achieve key business objectives.
