Ground Engineering Professional
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ground Engineering Professional to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality geotechnical solutions to support the design and delivery of ground-breaking infrastructure and building projects.
* Job Description:
o Communicate with clients and engineers to understand geotechnical requirements across diverse infrastructure and building projects.
o Plan, manage and report on site investigations and laboratory testing programs.
o Perform geotechnical design calculations and develop safety management plans for investigation works.
o Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored, high-quality geotechnical solutions.
o Prepare detailed factual, interpretative, and design reports, and contribute to digital and sustainable project outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or a related field, with consulting experience in design and investigations.
* Working towards or holding Chartered membership with IEAust and familiarity with Melbourne's geotechnical environment.
* Practical knowledge of site investigations, geotechnical design, and related regulatory requirements.
* Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
* Experience or interest in areas such as contamination assessments, rock mechanics, pavement design or hydrogeology.
