Knowledge Manager Role
Our organization is seeking a skilled Knowledge Manager to create and implement a comprehensive knowledge management framework. This will involve developing processes and protocols for creating new knowledge, making it accessible to our customers and staff, controlling access, and capturing new knowledge.
This role plays a critical part in shaping the way we share and utilize information across our organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and language skills, a strong understanding of industry best practices for knowledge management, and advanced knowledge of Confluence and other relevant tools.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing a knowledge management strategy that meets the needs of our diverse user base
* Creating high-quality, up-to-date, and searchable content that is accessible to all users
* Overseeing internal knowledge-related activities and training staff to effectively use knowledge tools and manage documentation
* Encouraging a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration, with a focus on expertise, training, and communication
* Supporting the development and implementation of training programs on knowledge management processes and tooling
Requirements include:
* 3-5 years' experience in a knowledge management or technical writing role in the tech industry, ideally working with SaaS products
* Strong leadership, effective communication, problem-solving, coaching, and teamwork skills
* Excellent writing and language skills, with the ability to adapt to different styles and formats
* Advanced knowledge of Confluence and other leading knowledge management tools
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on driving adoption and improving knowledge management value
