Full-time | Civil Construction | Subdivision Projects

About the Company

Our client is a respected civil construction contractor delivering projects across Western Australia. Their work spans infrastructure, resources, roadworks, concrete structures, bulk earthworks and land development. With ongoing project growth, they are looking to add an experienced Surveyor to their team.

About the Role

As a Surveyor, you will provide accurate set-out, measurements and survey support across a range of civil construction projects. You'll work closely with project managers, engineers and site teams to ensure all survey data, controls and documentation are delivered to a high standard.

This role suits someone who enjoys a mix of site work, technical accuracy and problem-solving, while contributing to successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct set-out, as-built surveys and verification surveys on civil construction sites
* Maintain survey control, benchmarks and accurate site data
* Prepare survey reports, as-built drawings and associated documentation
* Operate GPS, robotic total stations and other surveying equipment
* Review design drawings and models to ensure works align with project specifications
* Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to resolve discrepancies or design queries
* Manage survey files, data storage and record-keeping
* Ensure all survey work meets required quality, safety and compliance standards

Requirements

* Qualification in Surveying, Spatial Science, Geomatics or a related discipline
* Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Surveyor in civil construction
* Subdivision experience is essential — including set-out for roads, services, earthworks, utilities and lot creation
* Strong understanding of civil construction practices and land development processes
* Proficient using survey instruments such as GPS, Total Station and relevant software (12d, TBC, AutoCAD etc.)
* High level of accuracy, attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
* Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with site teams and engineers
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet project deadlines
* Full working rights in Australia
