You will be responsible for driving the development of our product range for your assigned product category. Ever since our formation, we've never been content settling for the norm; we're constantly evolving and challenging the status quo, inspired by the restless few who influence style, shape the future, and strive to be 1% better every day.Key Tasks & ResponsibilitiesFollow the LSKD operating principles including Design and Production, and 1% BetterBe Hungry, Humble, Smart; and lead the brand with integrityCollaborate with Creative Direction to understand LSKD's product vision and community needsCollaborate with merchandise teams to build your categories ranges through creative concepts and designGenerate creative ideas for new products, features, and enhancements that align with the Creative Direction and community insightsApply market research, trend analysis, and product testing insights into the development of our product rangesTranslate conceptual designs into actionable plans, considering factors such as materials, functionality, and costOversee the prototyping and testing process, working closely with our partners and internal teams to create samples and prototypesConduct product testing and validation to ensure quality, performance, and compliance with standardsSource and manage relationships with suppliers and manufacturing partnersNegotiate pricing, lead times, and production schedules to improve cost-effectiveness and efficiencyLead product development projects from concept to launch, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectivelyImplement quality assurance processes and standards to maintain product integrity and meet customer expectationsCreate and maintain documentation such as product specifications, production schedules, and quality control reportsProvide regular updates and reports to the team on project status, milestones, and key metricsExperience with activewear fabrics is highly desirableDemonstrated experience in the field with ideas of how a progressive production team should continue to challenge the normExtensive experience in garment construction techniquesDemonstrated understanding of product Lifecycle Management SoftwareExperience within E-Commerce platforms desirable and other software such as 3clicks, Style Arcade, Shopify, and AsanaDemonstrates a strong passion for and understanding of the LSKD community, brand mission, and valuesActively identifies new areas for learning and needs to stay up to date and leading edge in area of expertiseStrong communicator and clearly conveys information and ideas in a focused, appropriate, and effective mannerAbility to hit deadlines and work that extra mile to get the job done on timeAnalytical and adaptable - we're growing exponentially, which means exciting changes left, right, and center!So what do you need to get the gig?
