Volunteer - Aged Care Visitor Volunteer (ACVVS)
Here at St John Ambulance Queensland, we are looking for volunteers to join our government funded ACVVS (Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme).
Our amazing volunteers are the heart of this program, we support you every step of the way and match on general interest to ensure long lasting friendships.
We are looking for kindhearted individuals like yourself to visit aged care facilities for one hour, once a fortnight in the Toowoomba region.
These visits could include a cup of tea, getting involved in a simple activity together, reading, singing along to music, or having a yarn.
Requirements
Must be over the age of 18
Willingness to undergo a free national police check
Committed for the long run
Be patient, compassionate and a good listener
