Key Responsibilities:
* Engage with patients and visitors in a compassionate manner.
* Offer support to parents or carers by accompanying the patient during their time away from them.
* Escort parents/carer from theatre when the child is taken into care of theatre staff.
* Provide distraction during tests or ward procedures.
* Entertain siblings while parents are occupied supporting the patient.
* Contribute to hospital experience feedback via Care Opinion or in person.
This role involves direct interaction with patients and visitors who require assistance at challenging times. You will be part of a large and growing team, fostering camaraderie and a sense of community.
