As a Workday Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering successful Workday implementations, optimisations, and ongoing support to our diverse client base.You will leverage your deep understanding of Workday modules and your consulting expertise to understand client business needs, design effective solutions, and guide them through the entire project lifecycle.This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and contribute to the success of our clients.ResponsibilitiesWe are hiring across multiple modules in Workday, successful candidates will have the opportunity to cross skill into other areas and responsibilities will be in line with the modules you support.Client EngagementParticipate in discovery sessions with clients to understand their business requirements, processes, and pain points related to HR, Finance, or other relevant functional areas.Build strong relationships with client stakeholders at various levels.Facilitate workshops and presentations to gather requirements and present solutions.Solution Design & ConfigurationTranslate client business requirements into functional and technical Workday solutions.Design and configure Workday modules based on best practices and client-specific needs.Develop and document configuration workbooks and other relevant project documentation.Participate in testing and validation of Workday configurations.Implementation & DeploymentSupport the full Workday implementation lifecycle, including planning, design, build, testing, and deployment.Collaborate with technical consultants on integrations, data migration, and reporting.Provide guidance and support to clients during user acceptance testing (UAT).Assist with cutover activities and post-go-live support.Identify opportunities for process improvement and Workday system optimisation for existing clients.Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Workday issues.Assist clients with Workday upgrades and new feature adoption.Develop and deliver training materials and knowledge transfer sessions.Internal ContributionContribute to the development of the practice through knowledge sharing, methodology development, and internal training.Stay up-to-date with the latest Workday features and functionalities.Participate in pre-sales activities, including proposal development and presentations.Mentor junior consultants and contribute to team growth.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in a relevant field.Proven experience as a Workday Consultant, ideally within a consulting environment.Deep functional knowledge and hands-on configuration experience in one or more Workday modulesStrong understanding of business processes related to HR, Finance, or other relevant areas.Experience with the full Workday implementation lifecycle.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.Strong communication (written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills & ExperienceIdeally Workday certification(s) in relevant modules.Experience with Workday integration tools (e.g., Studio, EIB).Experience with Workday reporting and analytics.Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).Consulting experience.Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and Workday certifications.Exposure to a diverse range of clients and projects.Collaborative and supportive work environment.Opportunities for career growth and advancement.If you are interested in applying click the link to share your CV with me, please highlight your relevant Workday experience and consulting skills in your application.Seniority levelSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesIT Services and IT ConsultingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Fyndr Group by 2xGet notified about new Human Resources Information System Consultant jobs in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
