A Telecommunications Network Technician
We are seeking a skilled and reliable technician to join our team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on field role that involves installing, maintaining and testing telecommunications infrastructure in accordance with industry standards.
In this position, you will be working on various projects including NBN and Telstra network builds. You will need to install, splice and test fibre optic cables in line with client specifications. Additionally, you will be carrying out civil telecommunications tasks such as pit and pipe installation, concreting and reinstatement works. The successful candidate must have strong practical experience with fibre, copper systems as well as civil construction components of network builds.
Key Responsibilities include: - Install fibre optic cables using relevant equipment
- Maintain a safe work environment while adhering to WHS regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues for effective project delivery
- Work independently or part of a team to meet deadlines consistently
