Your responsibilities include managing the end-to-end recruitment process for temporary/contract lawyers, maintaining candidate engagement, and staying updated on their circumstances and availability.The Reach Talent Acquisition team is a close-knit, supportive, and dynamic group with a national and international presence, recognized within the firm. You will play a key role in driving growth and be an integral part of our award-winning New Law division.A detailed job description and responsibilities can be found on our careers page: www.ashurst.com/en/careers.Key Responsibilities:Building the Reach brand by liaising with external candidates, developing direct candidate networks, and fostering agency relationships.Developing strong relationships with Reach Consultants and coordinating with them on role opportunities.Managing the recruitment process for temporary/contract lawyers in Australia, including drafting descriptions, screening applications, scheduling and conducting interviews, and negotiating terms.Creating market maps/searches and headhunting candidates in consultation with hiring managers.Administering internal candidate management systems, closing roles, updating candidate workflows, and recording all contact and hiring data.About You:Proven end-to-end recruitment experience within the legal sector, either in-house or agency.Advanced interviewing skills, especially with legal candidates at senior levels.Strong relationship management and consulting skills.Ability to build rapport with candidates and promote the firm’s brand.Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.About Ashurst Advance Reach:Ashurst Reach is the firm’s flexible legal resourcing platform, providing access to high-quality lawyers and paralegals for short-term or urgent needs.
