About the Role:
Reporting to the Parts Inventory & Branch Support Supervisor, the position is responsible for international and domestic purchases of products from TMHA's approved suppliers, as well as supporting the NPDC and branch network with freight and general parts enquiries.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Place orders with local and international suppliers in accordance with TMHA branch stock demands and M3 forecasting models.
Oversee the purchasing process to ensure required parts are ordered within factory and TMHA parameters.
Ensure TMHA WHSE policies and procedures are adhered to within NPDC and branch network.
Liaise with freight forwarders on inbound AIR and SEA (including VOR) freight shipments arrival dates, action delayed shipments, and coordinate with NPDC team in preparation for receiving.
Communicate between suppliers and TMHA branches in relation to order ETA's, ensuring TMHA ETA enquiries are responded to in a timely manner.
Liaise with the factory on all OEM brands to ensure a continued supply of parts. Report any supply chain issues and implement countermeasures and resolve issues in a proactive manner.
Review stock in transit between supplier and branches, actively liaise with branches and action discrepancies where required
Qualifications, Requirements & Skills:
Prior working experience and knowledge of supply chain and logistics.
Working knowledge of M3 purchasing, inventory, TMHA dashboard and distribution modules.
Strong administration background with experience in Microsoft office systems
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport with numerous stakeholders.
Time management skills and ability to work autonomously.
Strong customer service skills and attitude
