* Provide high level administrative support to the General Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to provide professional, confidential and high-level support to the General Manager Innovation & Engagement.

You'll prepare for meetings and workshops, prioritise tasks, and support critical council communications and reports.

You'll also be responsible for:

* Executive support including diary management, task follow-up, correspondence handling, procurement, and general personal assistance.
* Supporting divisional projects, activities, and reporting including council briefings and workshops.
* Improving systems and processes to enhance team efficiency and administrative functions.
* Managing responses to internal and external enquiries and requests.
* Coordinating divisional content for the intranet, internet and Councillor Portal.

This is a varied and rewarding role that requires strong initiative and an ability to deliver while putting the customer at the centre of everything you do.

A BIT ABOUT YOU:

You'll bring a proactive, can-do attitude, excellent judgement, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

You have:

* Demonstrated experience providing high-level executive assistance in a confidential and fast-paced environment.
* Outstanding time management, attention to detail, and the ability to handle competing priorities with ease.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and confidence using digital systems and tools.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
* Knowledge of Local Government operations (or a willingness to learn), and an understanding of relevant standards and policies.
* The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to a positive and collaborative team culture.
