**Job Description**:
We have a vacancy for a **Casual ENG Camera Operator B** to join our highly successful NBN News team in Lismore.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, enthusiastic, and passionate individual to join our News division with Northern NSW's number 1 rating News Service, servicing loyal viewers 7 days per week with a one-hour News bulletin.
Reporting into the Chief Camera Operator, this is a casual role to cover holiday relief and sick leave, with weekend work and overtime as required.
**Qualifications**:
To succeed in this role, you will have the below:
- Proficient use of news broadcast cameras and editing skills on Premiere Pro
- Familiarity with Live Cross procedures and use of live Dejero Units, this is preferred but not essential
- Experience working in the News industry and working on live News bulletins, this is preferred but not essential
- Demonstrated communication skills - storytelling and written
- Attention to detail, timeliness, and planning of tasks to meet deadlines
- Ability to anticipate roadblocks and accurately scope out length and difficulty of task/project
- Demonstrated flexibility where required
- Engages peers, supervisors, colleagues and members of the public in active, open and productive dialogue
- Skills to achieve positive, measurable results aligned with the department and wider business needs
- Share positive information and proactive in discussing solutions/raising ideas
- Support, develop and maintain an effective local team
