Our client is a private-equity backed EdTech organisation, providing secure testing and credentialing solutions to over 300 organisations worldwide. 
Job Description 
- Own the business development agenda for the business in Australia, with responsibility for revenue growth and client engagement. 
- Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, post-secondary institutions, professional associations, government, community organisations, and corporate partners. 
- Lead initiatives to expand test preparation programs, grow adoption in new markets, and enhance engagement with existing clients. 
- Represent the organisation at industry events, deliver compelling presentations, and contribute to strategy through market analysis and insights. 
- Collaborate closely with regional and global teams to identify opportunities, implement solutions, and achieve business targets. 
The Successful Applicant 
- Proven business development or sales experience (5-10+ years) in education technology, assessment, language testing, credentialing, or related professional services sectors. 
- Experience selling to universities, vocational/post-secondary institutions, qualified associations, government, or corporate learning divisions. 
- Track record of successfully managing complex sales cycles, from prospecting and needs analysis through negotiation and closing. 
- Experience in B2B relationship management, including partnerships with institutional clients and intermediary organisations. 
- Data-driven approach, comfortable using CRM systems, analytics, and sales forecasting to inform decisions.
