Mindarie Senior College (SC) are seeking to establish a pool for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2024 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2024 school year.
Suitable applicants will ideally be passionate and dedicated educators who are highly motivated to work in a collaborative team environment. They should have the ability to provide students with a purposeful and engaging learning experience and to develop their skills, knowledge and understandings related to the Arts. The ability to build quality relationships with students and staff is important.
An understanding of curriculum requirements, standards, and teaching knowledge of Visual Arts in both Lower and Senior School would be highly regarded. A strong knowledge of the curriculum area and ongoing and proven success in teaching Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) and/or General Visual Arts are all highly desirable.
Suitable applicants will ideally be dedicated and highly motivated educators with an excellent knowledge of the Senior School Western Australian Curriculum, and be able to deliver content in an engaging manner and be a highly effective team member. As a reflective practitioner, the suitable applicants should possess effective data literacy and a capacity to modify their practice to meet identified student needs. The capacity to engage in the development and implementation of innovative classroom practices, including integration of information technology into the curriculum, is highly desirable. Pastoral care also remains a highly desirable aspect of the role.
Mindarie SC is a purpose-built senior college designed to meet the educational needs of young adults completing Years 11 and 12.
