**To be successful in this role you will need**:
A trade background (Electrical or Mechanical) with a minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience.
Knowledge of maintenance program requirements, analysis techniques and maintenance management practices
Fault-finding & plant diagnostic skills along with a high understanding of plant reliability principles
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of personnel to provide a consistent, reliable and high level of service
Ability to participate in an on call roster with a callout response time of 1 hour
Strong computer literacy involving spreadsheets and statistical analysis
Demonstrated alignment with SHL's Values and Behaviours
Ability to adjust effectively to change and to work within new structures, processes, requirements and cultures
Desirable attributes
Comprehensive knowledge of gas and diesel power stations, operations and access requirements.
Comprehensive knowledge of planning, access authorisation and scheduling systems
Ability to propose new ideas and contribute to quality improvements
