Overview
Senior Physiotherapist – Acute Inpatients role delivering high quality Physiotherapy clinical services within a multi-disciplinary environment at West Moreton Hospital and Health Service. The role will rotate through various West Moreton services and provide after-hours/weekend services at Ipswich Hospital. Future vacancies within the next 12 months may be filled through this recruitment.
About You
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrate high level clinical knowledge, skills and experience across the spectrum of acute inpatient physiotherapy practice.
- Support and respect team members, communicate effectively, be flexible and demonstrate a commitment to the multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to quality processes and evidence-based practices, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to these improvements, with an ability to apply established and evidence-based principles to complex Physiotherapy clinical services.
- Consistently and enthusiastically deliver a high level of client service.
- Proactively manage own continuous learning and development.
Mandatory Requirements
- Possession of a qualification in Physiotherapy from a registered tertiary institution. Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current registration from the Physiotherapy Board of Australia is essential. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
- Be available to work a non-cyclic roster across a 14-day fortnight, including weekends and participate in after-hours on call to provide 24-hour clinical coverage.
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16.
