Full-Time (or Part Time) Videographer & Content Creator
Location: Varsity Lakes, QLD
Start Date: Ideally from 1 March 2026
We are seeking a talented and reliable Videographer & Content Creator to join our team in Varsity Lakes. This is a full-time role for someone who loves being behind the camera, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can turn ideas into engaging visual content across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan, film and edit high-quality video content for use across social media, websites, digital campaigns and internal communications.
* Capture on-site footage across residential, commercial and project locations (including aerial footage where appropriately licensed).
* Produce a range of content formats, including:
* Short-form videos (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
* Longer-form brand and project videos
* Client testimonials and case studies
* Behind-the-scenes and “day in the life” style content
* Operate cameras, drones (where licensed) and associated audio/lighting equipment in a safe and professional manner.
* Edit and post-produce content, including:
* Cutting and assembling footage
* Colour correction and basic colour grading
* Audio clean-up and basic sound design
* Simple motion graphics and titles
* Work closely with the wider team, taking direction from the Head of Marketing to:
* Interpret briefs and develop concepts
* Create content that aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives
* Repurpose content into multiple formats (landscape, square, vertical)
* Meet agreed KPIs
* Manage and maintain media libraries, project files and backups in an organised, efficient way.
* Occasionally photograph projects, teams and events as required.
* Travel locally (and occasionally interstate) to capture content in line with project and business needs.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Essential
* Proven experience as a Videographer / Content Creator (in-house, agency or freelance).
* Strong camera skills, with an eye for composition, framing, light and detail.
* Proficiency with video editing software such as:
* Adobe Premiere Pro (preferred) and/or
* DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro
* Ability to create content optimised for social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), including vertical formats and platform-specific requirements.
* Intermediate skills in:
* Colour correction and grading
* Audio editing and noise reduction
* Adding subtitles and simple motion graphics / titles
* Strong understanding of content storytelling – how to structure a video to keep viewers engaged.
* Ability to work autonomously:
* Manage your own shoots and schedules
* Take a brief and run with it
* Deliver to deadlines without heavy supervision
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team, taking direction and contributing ideas.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Reliable transport and a current driver licence.
* Willingness to travel locally and occasionally interstate as required.
* Full working rights in Australia.
Preferred (but not essential)
* Current drone licence (RePL) and CASA accreditation for commercial drone operations.
* Experience flying drones for aerial photography/videography.
* If you do not currently hold a drone licence, you must be willing to learn – we will support the right candidate through the certification process.
* Experience with:
* Adobe After Effects or similar for motion graphics
* Lightroom / Photoshop for still images
* Copywriting (captions, hooks, short post copy)
