We're now looking for an experienced and passionate Certificate IV Qualified Veterinary Nurse to join our team in a casual capacity.
This role will primarily be based at our West Gosford hospital, with shifts rotating across hospital nursing, surgical nursing, team-based consulting, and customer care. At times, you may also assist at our other local clinics as needed.
Our team currently includes one vet (soon to be two), a practice manager, receptionist, four nurses, and three student nurses—with more team members expected to join us soon. We're a close-knit, dynamic group that values growth, teamwork, and a positive and supportive workplace culture.
About You
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
A minimum of three years of recent nursing experience, with at least one year of paid employment
Strong clinical skills, including:
* Blood collection, catheter placement, feline-friendly handling
* Radiology and dentistry
* Anaesthesia monitoring, including:
* ECG
* Blood pressure
* Capnography
A friendly and team-oriented personality—someone who thrives in a positive and collaborative environment
A passion for ongoing learning and professional development
Confidence in mentoring junior nurses and student interns
Adaptability and motivation to thrive in a changing and busy environment
