CREST Education is a vibrant Christian learning community with a strong focus on excellence, innovation, and values-based education, we are seeking a highly organised and motivated Teacher to join us starting 6th October 2025 on a fixed term contract until the end of the year.
About the Role
Hillcrest Christian College, a school within CREST Education, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English and Humanities Teacher (Yrs 7–10) to join our team. This is a short-term contract, from October - December, 2025.
As a Year 7–10 English and Humanities Teacher, you will:
- Teach engaging and differentiated programs that cater for diverse learning needs.
- Foster strong, positive relationships with students, supporting their academic, social, and spiritual development.
- Incorporate Biblical worldview and values into teaching and learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative and inclusive teaching strategies.
- Participate in pastoral care, including class devotions, prayer, and guidance in Christian faith and character formation.
- Actively engage with parents, caregivers, and the broader school community.
- Contribute to co-curricular activities, excursions, and school events.
About You 
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Is a committed Christian actively involved in their local church.
- Holds relevant tertiary teaching qualifications and current VIT registration (or eligibility).
- Has experience teaching English and/or Humanities at secondary level (Years 7–10).
- Demonstrates excellence in curriculum delivery, assessment, and use of data to support student progress.
- Values teamwork, collaboration, and continuous professional growth.
- Models a lifestyle consistent with the values of Hillcrest Christian College and CREST Education.
