The Company

Black Duck SeatCovers is a leading provider of high-quality vehicle seat protection, known for our innovative products, outstanding service, and a culture built on integrity, teamwork, and accountability. We're looking for an experienced General Manager to take ownership of the business's operations, lead our teams, and drive performance to the next level.

The Role

As General Manager, you'll be at the centre of the business, overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring all teams work efficiently and collaboratively. You'll combine hands‐on leadership with strategic oversight, taking responsibility for operational performance, budgets, and process improvements while mentoring and developing the management team. You'll work closely with the Executive Director, maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners, and ensuring compliance, quality, and safety standards are met. This is a high‐impact role where your decisions and leadership will directly shape the success and growth of a respected, innovative brand.

Responsibilities

You will lead the daily operations of the business, monitor performance metrics, and implement strategies to drive efficiency, productivity, and quality across all areas. You'll mentor the management team, promote a collaborative and high-performance culture, and oversee customer service, compliance, and stakeholder engagement. You'll also translate strategic objectives into actionable operational plans and provide accurate reporting on operational, financial, and people performance to the Executive Director.

About You
* Tertiary qualifications in Business, Management, Operations, or equivalent experience.
* 5-7 years' senior management experience, ideally in manufacturing, industrial, or commercial environments.
* Proven ability to lead multi-functional teams and deliver operational and financial results.
* Hands‐on, practical leader with strong commercial acumen and problem‐solving skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Results‐driven with a focus on efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.
