This school setting caters to secondary school aged children, and has a focus on whole school wellbeing, alongside educational excellence. The opportunity: An opportunity exists for a psychologist to join their student services team, in a full time capacity in the 'School Psychologist | Counselling' role. This role is a great opportunity for an experienced or aspiring school psychologist looking for an opportunity to join a growing wellbeing team. You can be a senior or junior team member, and will use your experience as a psychologist who has worked with adolescents to provide wellbeing support to the students within your care. You will work alongside other allied health clinicians, education staff, and the school leadership team in your daily role. Part time position, school based hours Term time only role Working with secondary school aged children, on campus - counselling, assessment, intervention, working with school staff Join a counseLling team where you will work closely with the L&D team to provide optimum wellbeing outcomes for the students within your care You: You will be a fully registered psychologist with 1 years experience in your field. Ideally you will have had experience working within a school setting as a counsellor or psychologist - though this is preferred and not essential. You will be a team player, and an expert in best psychological practises for adolescents within your care. Relevant tertiary qualification, and full AHPRA registration 1 years working in a psychology role Working with children's check (or willingness to obtain) Educational and development endorsement preferred but not essential Experience working with young people very advantageous This position will commence at earliest convenience, or at a negotiated date for the successful candidate.
