Bakery Production Manager Role
Job Overview:
* Lead a team of kitchen staff to oversee food production and quality control.
* Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and high-quality products.
About the Position:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage daily food production, including oversight of packaging, labeling, and storage of food products.
2. Guide and mentor team members, including apprentices and trainees, in maintaining quality standards.
3. Assist with large-scale bulk productions through to fresh/frozen ready-made meals.
4. Ensure product quality through attention to detail and regular quality testing.
5. Champion safety by adhering to HACCP and WHS rules and legislation.
Requirements:
* Experience as a supervisor in a commercial kitchen setting.
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
* Knowledge of HACCP management systems.
* Proven ability to manage small to medium-sized teams.
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality products.
