Kurri Kurri Hospital is situated high on the hill off Hospital Road and serves as the Lower Hunter Sector rehabilitation specialist.
The hospital also provides an Emergency Department, Day Surgery, Day Care (Respite), and Medical Services to patients from Kurri Kurri and surrounding areas.
With a busy workload and no nearby shop, volunteers are eager to reopen the cafe that has been closed for most of the year.
If you'd like to help bring the cafe to life at 'Pinkies Care', you could volunteer as little as one day a week, making a significant difference to onsite staff, visitors, patients, and nearby workers at the Masonic Centre.
All volunteers must be willing to receive annual influenza vaccinations to ensure safety for everyone.
A private meeting with staff health will be arranged to discuss all requirements.
