Job Title: ICT Specialist Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced ICT specialist technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining ICT infrastructure in schools, supporting both staff and students, and administering complex enterprise environments.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of industry experience, including:
1. Previous experience within the TSSP program;
2. Extensive experience in the education sector;
3. Equivalent senior-level corporate IT support experience.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing and maintaining ICT infrastructure across Department of Education schools;
* Administering and supporting school networks and server environments;
* Providing ICT support services in large, technology-driven learning environments.
Essential technical skills include:
1. Hyper-V virtualisation administration;
2. Administration of Windows and Linux-based servers;
3. Cloud service administration (Google Workspace & Microsoft 365);
4. Mobile Device Management (MDM) deployment and administration;
5. Advanced enterprise networking (Cisco & HP switching).
Personal attributes required include:
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
* Strong problem-solving and escalation skills;
* Punctual, reliable, and well-organised.
