**About the Role**
Join our dynamic team at Mindful - Centre for Training and Research in Developmental Health, University of Melbourne, and play a pivotal role in advancing Autism training and support.

Mindful is part of the Department of Psychiatry, at the University of Melbourne's Travancore campus. The position is responsible for administration relating to the Autism training program at Mindful. This program includes a wide range of professional development short courses offered through Mindful, aimed at people working within the child and adolescent mental health sector.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Provide overall support to the ASD Academic Lead in the administration of short professional development courses, such as;
- course registrations, materials and certification
- event support for online and in-person training
- development of an annual training calendar and individual training flyers
- first level response to enquiries
- With other members of the Mindful administrative team, share responsibility for reception duties.

**Who We Are Looking For**
To be successful in this role you will have high level organisational and administration abilities, capable of setting priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment, even when faced with competing demands. Additionally, you possess excellent teamwork and communication skills, enabling you to work effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.

You will also have:

- Completion of a degree or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- A high degree of expertise in the use of Zoom videoconferencing for large group meetings.

- This position requires the incumbent to hold a current and valid Working with Children Check to ensure the University provides a safe environment for everyone._

**Your New Team - Mindful - Centre for training and research in developmental health**
Mindful - centre for training and research in developmental health is funded by the Victorian Department of Health and auspiced by the University of Melbourne. It provides professional development training to the child development industry, including one
- and two-year courses enrolling over 150 students annually. In addition, Mindful provides a full calendar of half-day to three-day training workshops in key areas such as Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), as well as in more specialist areas such as Psychiatric Assessments for the Family Court. Mindful provides the venue and staff for Melbourne-based Tuning in to Kids facilitator training and supervision.

Mindful is the lead agency for the early intervention studies associated with the Tuning in to Kids suite of program, and the evaluation of these programs is the key component of Mindful research activities, including the supervision of Masters and PhD students.
