About the role:
As the Tech Lead - Security Services you will ensure key security services are operated efficiently, reliably, and in support of the teams' needs.
You will drive operational excellence by maintaining secure, well‑configured, high‑performing, and resilient security platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Build strong, trust‑based relationships across teams, fostering collaboration and a customer‑focused culture that informs strategy and product development.
Lead technical decision‑making and uphold high execution standards to ensure consistent delivery excellence across the team.
Provide technical leadership for Illumio segmentation solutions, including architecture, deployment, optimisation, and lifecycle management.
Deliver day‑to‑day operational changes and project work across secure access and segmentation services, ensuring stability and service continuity.
Resolve operational incidents and service tickets, while identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement.
Monitor, respond to, and remediate issues across Netskope, Netskope NPA, and Illumio technologies.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimise adoption and effective use of secure access products.
Required skills & experience:
5-10 years' experience in an operational or delivery role within a large enterprise.
Strong experience with secure access and segmentation technologies, ideally including:
Netskope / Netskope NPA (VPN replacement project)
Illumio (heritage protection / segmentation)
Firewalls: Checkpoint, Forcepoint
Endpoint Protection: CrowdStrike
DNS Hosting: CSC, Akamai
Secure File Transfer: Kiteworks
Hands‑on experience or working knowledge of AWS and enterprise networking.
General security certifications (CISSP, SANS, ISACA)
Product vendor security certifications (Symantec, Checkpoint)
Ability to lead technical teams, solve complex problems, and deliver high‑quality outcomes.
Strong motivation to maintain and expand technical knowledge.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
