About the Role
Stryker is seeking a Field Service Engineer who thrives on building trust and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with their hands, solving problems, and taking the initiative in a dynamic environment.
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be the face of our business, ensuring our customers receive first-class service and technical support. You'll troubleshoot and maintain medical equipment, build strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and take ownership of your workload.
This role is based in Cairns with regular travel. We welcome applications from mechanics, tradespeople, engineers, or anyone with 3+ years of hands-on technical experience and a passion for customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Be the trusted expert: Build strong relationships with customers through outstanding service and support.
2. Solve technical challenges: Conduct on-site repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting for Stryker medical equipment.
3. Take ownership: Manage your workload, prioritize tasks, and ensure seamless service for every customer.

Requirements:
1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing field service role, trade, mechanical, or hands-on technical position.
2. Strong customer service mindset with a focus on problem-solving and building relationships.
3. Full working rights in Australia.
4. A valid driver's license and your own vehicle (an electrical license or tagging/testing experience is a bonus).
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience in the medical device industry or similar.
