As a Senior Business/Systems Analyst, you will be embedded within key transformation initiatives, bringing clarity to complex problems and enabling future-ready solutions across HR, payroll, and data domains.
You'll work hands-on across system implementations, process optimisation, and data uplift-ensuring alignment with this large government body's digital and data strategy.
Key activities
* Lead and support HRIS & Payroll system implementations (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle)
* Analyse and optimise HR and payroll processes to improve efficiency and reduce risk
* Drive data quality, governance, and integration uplift for enhanced reporting and insights
* Partner with stakeholders to define requirements, user stories, and business outcomes
* Support procurement activities and vendor engagement
* Deliver insightful reporting and dashboards across HR and payroll metrics
* Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
* Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities across complex programs
Skills and experience
* Proven experience as a Business/System Analyst supporting HR or payroll systems
* Strong expertise in HCM platforms (e.g. Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle)
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
* Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
* Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
