Job Overview:
* Maintain identified facilities in a manner appropriate to their use.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake regular inspections of facilities and equipment, ensuring compliance with guidelines and schedules.
* Maintain updated information and storage for safety data sheets.
* Interact with internal and external facility users to meet their usage requirements through preparation, setup, and disassembly of infrastructure and assets, and ensuring access.
* Supervise cleaning contractors through regular facilities inspections and report issues to the team leader.
* Complete electrical safety checks on all relevant equipment, as per established guidelines.
* Undertake regular cleaning and minor maintenance tasks in facilities and surroundings.
* Work with the maintenance team to deliver projects and facilities maintenance.
* Undertake regular building inspections to identify damage, risks, or maintenance issues using council systems.
* Perform other duties as directed that are within the limits of the incumbent's skill, competence, and training.
Requirements:
* Familiarity with essential service manuals and risk management principles.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Basic knowledge of electrical safety procedures.
