The South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC) is responsible for the creation, development, and procurement of nationally and internationally recognised events to promote South Australia as a tourism destination, increase its appeal and drive visitation demand. The Digital Producer, Events is responsible for supporting the event specific marketing programs to create awareness and drive demand of SATC's managed and sponsored events. In doing so, the role will help grow visitor numbers and expenditure, generate ticket and product sales and increase attendances to generate economic and social benefit for South Australia.
The SATC owns and manages three events, including the Santos Tour Down Under (TDU), Tasting Australia presented by Journey Beyond (TA) and the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant (NPCP). The Digital Producer, Events will work across the digital platforms of managed events including websites, databases and owned-social platforms. The role is responsible for planning, production and implementation of content strategies across platforms to grow appeal for SATC events.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
* Day to day management and implementation of digital plans across website, eDM and social platforms for managed events as well as sponsored events as required.
* Ongoing management of event websites, ensuring information is up-to-date and reflects activity in market, giving consideration to SEO best practice and UX.
* Develop, produce, curate and implement content, including written, visual and video, across all digital platforms based on agreed strategy and plans for SATC event specific campaigns.
* Produce written content for digital platforms.
* Procure, brief, manage and lead external suppliers to produce visual and video content.
* Capture, edit and develop visual and video content as required.

This full-time position is offered for an 12-month term at a salary classification of ASO5.
