About Our Client:
We are partnering with a large, complex organisation undertaking a major storage transformation initiative. As part of this program, our client is looking for a motivated Project Manager to support business units through their migration journey and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with minimal disruption to the business. This role sits at the intersection of technology, business engagement, and delivery, playing a key part in coordinating activities, tracking progress, and supporting stakeholders throughout the transition to new storage solutions.
Role Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will coordinate the planning, execution, and reporting of business unit storage migrations. You will work closely with Group IT, project teams, and business stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met, risks are managed, and communication flows effectively. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Delivery
• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports
• Track progress of business unit migrations, including decisions, readiness, and data volumes
• Identify dependencies, risks, and milestones across the program
• Support delivery teams in resolving issues impacting timelines or outcomes
Stakeholder Coordination & Communication
• Act as a point of contact between business units and project teams
• Ensure stakeholders are informed about timelines, responsibilities, and project progress
• Help business units understand migration requirements and next steps
• Escalate issues to senior project leads when necessary
Problem Solving & Support
• Facilitate solutions to project or process challenges
• Help resolve technical or operational gaps impacting project delivery
• Support the smooth transition of project outcomes into Business as Usual (BAU)
Key Skills & Experience:
• Experience in project management, ideally within technology or business transformation programs
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders
• Confidence coordinating with technical and non-technical teams
• Strong problem-solving and facilitation skills
• Experience with project tracking tools and reporting
