About The Opportunity
South Western Sydney Local Health District is recruiting Switchboard Operators (Telephonist Level 1) to join the Security & Patient Services Department and provide a courteous, efficient communication service for Camden and Campbelltown Hospitals. As a Switchboard Operator, you'll be an integral part of the hospital's 24/7 switch service, ensuring seamless connectivity and support for staff, patients and visitors.
What You'll Be Doing
• Provide a courteous and efficient communication service for Camden & Campbelltown Hospital.
• Operate the switch service 24 hours, 7 days a week.
• Assist staff, patients and visitors with call routing, information and escalation as required.
Where You'll Be Working
Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals, part of the South Western Sydney Local Health District, work together to provide comprehensive healthcare services to the Macarthur region. Campbelltown Hospital offers a wide range of services including cardiology, maternity, palliative care, respiratory medicine, emergency medicine and aged-care services. Camden Hospital specialises in care for older persons with acute or chronic health conditions.
