About Us

Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is an exceptional environment to advance your career while enhancing your skills and expertise. As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we deliver a comprehensive range of public health services across the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Regions.
Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney's western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.
An exciting opportunity is now available for qualified Registered Nurses to step into the role of Clinical Nurse Educator within our Acute Aged Care ward. This position offers the chance to shape clinical practice, support staff development and contribute to high‐quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
As the Clinical Nurse Educator, you will champion evidence‐based best practice by coordinating and facilitating clinical education and professional development for a diverse range of health professionals. You will identify learning needs, plan and deliver targeted education programs, and evaluate their effectiveness at the ward and unit level. While the role is primarily education‐focused, you may provide direct clinical care when required for teaching purposes, with hands‐on care otherwise limited to emergency situations.
If you are passionate about developing others, strengthening clinical capability and enhancing aged care outcomes, we encourage you to apply.

Benefits available to eligible NBMLHD employees

* Opportunity for extra tax savings through Salary Packaging
* Novated Leasing
* Great education opportunities through Education Training Service which offers over 110 courses each year
* Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for staff and family members
