Echo Marine Group is an Australian owned and operated company with over 10 years’ experience in the Marine Industry. We specialize in the manufacture of Luxury Superyachts, Commercial Workboats, and Refits and Maintenance on a range of vessels in the Superyacht, Workboat and Defence areas.

These roles will involve
The Position:
The ideal candidate will undertake the following duties:
* Metal Fabrication
* Perform Sheet and Plate Assembly
* Reading and Interpretation of Technical Drawings and technical specifications for job tasks.
* Clean and preparing metal materials
* Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, machinery and heat treatments to cut, bend, shape and align metal parts.
* Join metals using various welding techniques according to company weld procedures and survey requirements.
* checking that welds meet class/survey standers, finishing the product using various cleaning and other techniques.
* Preparing materials for the job.
* observe welded surfaces and evaluate weld quality and conformance to weld specifications
* follow safe work practices.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful for this position, you must possess the following experience:
* Minimum 2 years Fabrication Experience
* Strong Metal Welding technical skills
* Familiar with both TIG & MIG welding processes.
* Broad Metal Product experience
* Boat Building Experience
* High attention to detail
* Reliable and Enthusiastic with strong work ethics
* Excellent problem-solving capabilities
* Must own some basic Hand Tools
* Must be able to work in a team environment
On Offer:
In return for your extensive skills and experience, Echo Marine Group can offer a salary range $39-$45 per hour excluding Super and penalties.
