Overview
We are seeking an experienced and energetic HSEQ Manager to complement our existing team and support our expanding long-term program of works in the SA Utilities sector. Based in Dulwich, you will lead a dedicated and high-performing HSEQ team supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of multidisciplined construction projects, including earthworks, treatment plants, large-scale pipelines, pump stations and concrete structures.

In this role you'll be responsible for:
* Reinforcing and driving the business HSEQ strategy from the ground up and tailoring HSEQ strategy to align with client requirements
* Providing HSEQ leadership, ensuring compliance with legislative, client and internal management system requirements
* Day-to-day management of a high-functioning HSEQ team
* Engaging with senior cross-functional leaders to drive integrated business outcomes
* Streamlining systems and processes to meet program risk profile and client requirements
* Liaising and reporting directly with client HSEQ personnel to ensure requirements and expectations are exceeded
* Lead critical investigations and oversee all incident management requirements
How you'll connect to the role:
* Relevant qualification in Health, Safety, Environment or Quality related discipline
* Lead Auditor qualification (preferably ICAM lead investigator) and expertise in accredited safety systems and incident investigation
* Relevant experience in the industrial construction industry, preferably Water/Wastewater
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
* Proficient in report writing, presentations and client-facing interactions
* Proven ability to lead, develop, engage, coach and foster relationships at all levels of an organisation
