About the role
As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you'll play a key role in delivering remarkable dining experiences, with seasonal menus showcasing Tasmania's finest produce. Guests enjoy local seafood, cool‐climate wines and artisan ingredients across Palate Restaurant, the Lounge, or within the privacy of their suite.
This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step and establish themselves within a high‐performing luxury environment, with the opportunity to grow into future leadership roles.
Responsibilities
* Lead by example in delivering warm, personalised service aligned with Saffire's luxury standards
* Support the Food & Beverage Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar
* Build authentic connections with guests and create memorable, tailored experiences
* Work closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to deliver exceptional food and wine pairings
* Mentor, train and develop team members, fostering a strong and stable team culture
* Contribute to recruitment, onboarding and capability-building across the team
* Take ownership of service standards, ensuring consistency, quality and attention to detail
* Support ordering, stock control and inventory management
* Collaborate across departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
