About the Role
As Head of Department, Student Engagement, you will lead initiatives that support improved educational outcomes, align school planning with the vision of Early Childhood and State Schools Division, and strengthen teaching and learning. A key focus will be fostering positive relationships across the school community. At our school, "Success for all, where learners come first" is more than a vision—it's a commitment. Your Responsibilities
As the Head of Department - Student Engagement, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Provide leadership and guidance for the implementation of innovative measures aimed at improving student learning outcomes and attendance in schools where a significant percentage of students may have a disadvantaged background, ensuring quality learning outcomes for all students.
* Where requested, prepare all data returns for senior management.
* Monitor students' individual performance and behaviour and develop and implement intervention strategies where necessary.
* Communicate and work with parents, higher education institutes and State Schools Division to improve learning outcomes, student achievements and attendance.
