Job Title: Advanced Medical Practitioner
The role of the Advanced Medical Practitioner is to provide comprehensive medical care to patients in various settings. This involves assessing patient needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations to diagnose conditions and develop treatment plans
* Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to inform treatment decisions
* Prescribe medications and write treatment plans according to organizational policies and procedures
* Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner
* Perform bedside procedures as necessary
Requirements:
* Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies required
* MA Physician Assistant license required
* 2 years of experience as a PA required
Skills and Abilities:
* Skilled in taking medical histories to assess medical condition and interpret findings
* Ability to maintain quality control standards
* Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
* Ability to communicate clearly and establish/maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public
